Foxtrot I beginning! April Calendar!

Hello everyone!

Once again I am reminded by you all how important our community is to the lives of those involved!  Saturday evening we had a chance to come together with Alan John's family (niece Melissa, nephew John, and Great niece - Maria) to Celebrate his life!  Having the dance community as a whole (from Dance Plus, to Viva, to Buckeye Bop Club, to Monday Night WCS Club, to Mid-Ohio Boogie Club) pull together to celebrate Alan's life, share in stories, and support each other was amazing.  His own family didn't realize how much of a social life he had in Columbus because of his involvement in dance, and it's beautiful to be part of this community and share the highs and low with you all.

I don't know if I'm expressing this the best, but my heart was truly touched to see Alan's family accepted into our community, welcomed, and loved on Saturday night.  Thank you all for being part of my life, I can only hope there is as much joy and love shown when I leave this earth!

We are still casting Solos for our Spring Showcase!

This means you could enjoy putting together a fun routine with your instructor (or the partner of your choice) to entertain and perform at our May 17th Showcase!

This Thursday (March 5th) we are starting a new Sizzling Social Salsa Group Class!

This  class is a great way for those who have never danced before or who want to dance Salsa socially!  We will add some flare to your basic moves and get you moving to the music!

WCS Monthly Dance is Post-poned 1 week!

Join us (plus Chris & Melissa Moy AND DJ Toni Carroll) on Friday March 13th instead of the 1st Friday!

We moved this dance back 1 week due to a huge WCS Event on the 1st weekend in March.

If you want to learn to dance... Foxtrot Medal Series Level I begins Thursday!

Medal Series are created to be the stepping stone to learning to dance socially.

This series helps you understand the basics of each style of dance and then encourages development of muscle memory for the level taken.  You must pass out of level I to go to level II and so on!  Now's the time to start learning Foxtrot from the ground up, from the same syllabus our instructors learn from, in March!

This week join us for group classes all week long, private lessons around your schedule and  Saturday evening is our awesome weekly ballroom dance party!
