Hello everyone!
Our 1st Annual Ballroom Swap Meet on Saturday was a success. If you are still looking for items, some of the ones from the swap meet will still be available through Tuesday Evening! It was wonderful to spend time with you all, and see previously loved items find new homes! A few of you got great shoes at a great price (some even free) and shared in celebrating Alan Johns life by giving his beautiful clothes new loving homes. We'll be doing this event annually and look forward to even more people bringing in their lightly used items to sell.
Sunday, we as a studio had a display at The Bridal Affair wedding show in Dublin. This was an opportunity for us to reach out as a studio and share dance with engaged couples. If you know anyone who is engaged and interested in making their first dance (Or Mother/Son or Father/Daughter dances) comfortable or memorable, let them know we are now offering a specific Wedding Consultation and Introductory Private Lesson! There are still a few tickets left for our annual fundraising event!
Dancing with Our Columbus Stars, presented by The Byron Saunders Foundation, is happening Friday, August 14, 2026—and this year’s theme is Dancing Through the Decades!
The Crystal Ballroom will be well represented with Fergie dancing a ’60s Cha Cha with Leslie, and me dancing a ’90s Hip Hop/WCS/Hustle with Canon!
The Byron Saunders Foundation provides Thanksgiving meal boxes to more than 6,000 Central Ohio families each year, made possible by your generosity! As a studio we have proudly supported this event for seven years, and love attending together as a group. You get to enjoy a sit down dinner, show, silent auction, cash bar, and some dancing with our group!
Tickets are $120 per person. Purchase HERE this week to sit with your Crystal Ballroom family and cheer us on!
(btw, only 10 tables remain before the event is sold out, so purchase your tickets now to help us reserve another table—or two!)
Donate food: Bring canned goods and nonperishable items to the studio and place them in our donation boxes, although these won't count as votes towards winning, they will help feed families during Thanksgiving!
Vote for your favorites: Every $1 equals one vote, and $50 provides a Thanksgiving meal for one family.

Conspiracy Band is one of the most in-demand dance bands in Columbus and we have the pleasure of having them in Worthington on Sunday the 9th of August. Both Fergie and I have the chance to choreography, perform, and raise money for a great cause this year for the Byron Saunders Foundation Fundraiser! Purchase your tickets HERE to sit at The Crystal Ballroom Tables at this event! This organization is fantastic since all of the profit goes directly to feeding families in the Columbus area! We will be planning another opportunity to volunteer and pack boxes as well this year!

You must Pass the PreRequisite Tests to Qualify for Silver Medal Classes at The Crystal Ballroom! (Dance Vision Student Achievement Awards Qualify as well as a Pre-Req Test in Bronze Levels I-IV)
