The Columbus Fury Mopsters Season 2026 Debut was this past Saturday!!  The Crystal Ballroom  had it's first chance to be part of the Columbus Professional Women's Volleyball Team - The Columbus Fury game!  As you all may recall we hosted the Mopster's Audition back in November and I began working with them right before Christmas on some fun entertaining choreography they could do to entertain the crowd!  I consider this group of entertainers my team and I'm so glad I got the chance to see them put all their energy out on the floor!  Check out the Video here in my facebook post.

Ballroom Fitness - Starting this Saturday at 10:30am

No matter what your level of fitness, this is a great way to move, dance and gain energy for your day!

This class is Shavon's creation and has her energy and inspiration, enjoy great music, genuine smiles, and fun movements as you dance your way to fitness!  Think of Zumba, no experience necessary, just follow along and make up your own moves when you want!  If you haven't yet taken a 6 week fitness class, it's only $64 for the entire series (the next 6 Saturdays) Otherwise it's $84 (still less than $15 per class)

Intro to Ballroom Dancing Class - Saturday at 2:30pm

Drop-In Complimentary Class/ Tour/ Meet the Instructors/ Personalization of Services

This class is designed for those curious about dance at The Crystal Ballroom!  Come curious and leave with a plan!  You'll get a tour of the studio, a short fun group class, information about our drop-in classes, memberships, and private lessons, as well as a conversation with an instructor to help you determine what your next steps are if you want to be part of our community!

Couple's Date Night - Once a Month Class this Saturday at 5:30pm

Bring your significant other and enjoy holding each other and learning to dance for this perfect monthly date night!

This class is perfect for new dancers as well as those with more experience as we enjoy starting at square one and stirring up romance dancing with one another!  There is no rotation of partners in this class.  It is for couples who would like to spend time together learning something new together!

Intro to Tango - This Saturday Evening 7pm.

Intro level is perfect if you've never stepped on a dance floor before!

Every Saturday night (unless we have a special event) we have 2 levels of group classes before our party, you can drop-in, or purchase a membership to lower the cost.  This Saturday is Tango.  So if you want the drama of a powerful dance, join us Saturday!

Later in the month on Friday the 31st, we have our Showcase Casting Day, start picking your songs and get ready to have fun in being part of your own personalized performance opportunity, or join a group number with fun community vibes!

AND let me just say that I got great feedback on my Waltz Technique Class this past Thursday.  I was told that it opened eyes to concepts they had seen but never thought about incorporating as well as that it was a fun experience for ALL levels, from newbies to those who have competed!  If you want to FEEL more like a dancer, this class gives you the chance to try movements that will give you the feel of waltz!  Last week we had 13 people in class, will y'all help me make it a studio record this week and get 25 people in class?!! Believe me, it's worth it, even if you choose to pay the $20 Drop-In rather than get a monthly Membership!
