PreRegister for Date Night!! Foxtrot I starts TONIGHT!!

Hello everyone!

Saturday from 9am to 4pm, The Crystal Ballroom was at Worthington Market Day!  This is a large annual arts event in downtown Worthington where hundreds of vendors share their goods while thousands of people come out to enjoy food trucks, atmosphere, great products and fun!  We met so many wonderful people in the Worthington Community and shared our location, joy for dancing, and friendly community!  Thank you to Buckeye Bop Club, Salsamante Dance Academy and Rhythm and Roots for being part of our dancing demos and friendly faces throughout the day!  We really appreciate all of you that came out, shared your love for dancing and let the Worthington Community know we exist! Personally it was great to dance with you all, share West Coast Swing with Carlos and take a Country Swing lesson from Rhythm & Roots! Six people we met chose to start their dance journey with an upcoming lesson and dozens more took information home to decide which activity to try first!

My favorite event of the year is coming up!  On December 6th (starting at 2pm) will be our Candy Cane and Coal: Fun Match & Showcase!  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to sign up for dances and receive a prize!!  Set up a meeting today to get involved and learn how you can enjoy the event!  Think of this as the Dave & Busters of Ballroom, prizes for every entry, fun for all, and even an opportunity to learn a Solo Dance and perform!  We (of course) have our favorite photographer Tom Wehrung coming to capture the afternoon and look forward to sharing this event with the Columbus Dance Community! Let your friends know everyone is welcome!
