Testimonial and Triceritops Tango!

Hello everyone!

Do you enjoy spending an evening at a classy themed event wearing that dress you bought but didn't have a chance to wear yet, surrounded by great people, wonderful performances, a delicious dinner, and an even better cause?

Well, if that reeeeally loooong sentence didn't convince you, maybe I can!?  Each year the Byron Saunders Foundation supplies Thanksgiving Meals to thousands of local families.

Who of you wouldn't spend $40 to buy a meal for someone who needed it?

You can "vote" by doing just that and donating that amount towards this event (VOTE HERE),

OR how about buying 2 families in need a meal AND enjoying a movie themed event that will knock your socks off?

I am not saying this as someone who is paid or gets business from this event, I am saying it as a person who has donated 10+ Hours of my time yearly to creating magic, fun and raising funds for this event.  Over the past 7 years of this event, the Crystal Ballroom has been instrumental in raising well over $100,000 towards creating good memories for families around the holidays. It is amazing what 9 professional dancers, 9 local Columbus Stars, and a whole team of organizers can create in a few months!!  We'd love you to support and enjoy the evening with us after we have donated time, energy, and space to those creating the best SHOW of the year!  Donate here (remember to vote for Sammy or I).... or if you'd like to come to the event we still have a couple of seats left, it's $120 per seat (the proceeds go straight to The Byron Saunders Foundation!!) , choose our photos, and vote!  (Approx $35 is enough to feed 1 family!)

Medal Classes are soon progressing through levels III & IV!

Many of you have taken our Dance Vision Medal Classes throughout the last year, solidifying your basics in the dances and getting a little more used to the terminology and technical aspect of dancing.  This is the same syllabus our instructors Certify in (although their process is much more involved).  This fall we are excited to continue progressing through the syllabus past Level I & II!

(Remember, you must take a PreRequisite Test to enter each level by demonstrating all of the steps of the previous level with music and with counts, with a partner and without.  It is so fun seeing the progress of our community in learning the details of American Style Ballroom Dance :) )

We are going to start a FUN class on Thursdays on August 21st (after CBC Dancesport Competition)  It is called the "Triceritops Tango"  Imagine a fun dinosaur theme throughout the class as you enjoy fun exercises in Tango!  Don't worry, this is still a class for adults where you get to let our your silly wild side! :)

This Friday enjoy our WCS Night featuring instructors Doug & Elaine from Cincinnati.  Saturday don't miss our Wonderful Saturday Night Party preceded by Viennese Waltz group classes for two levels!
