Hello everyone!

Thanks to everyone who filled out our Group Class Survey the last 2 weeks!  We were excited to crown the winners of the raffle Saturday Night, congrats to Joanna Mahoney & Beulah Reed!

The RESULTS of your survey are that the majority of people want the following

~More Social Dance Classes (some technical)

~Focus on Technical Rumba, Cha Cha and Waltz

~Teach more Variations on Foxtrot Waltz & Rumba

~Offer classes on West Coast Swing, Country 2-Step, Bachata, Salsa & Merengue

SOCIAL DANCE CLASS - the Triceritops Tango Class starting this Thursday is going to be one of our most Fun, Creative, and Social Dance Classes you've been to in a while!  Join Spencer as we discover Dinosaur facts and dance tango (feel free to dress as dinosaur-y as you want!)

VARIATIONS ON WALTZ - starting Sept 22nd we will be offering a Waltz Variation class.  Holly will be sharing fun new combos to keep your waltz new and exciting!

MERENGUE (SOCIAL DANCE CLASS) - starting September 18th we will be offering a Fun with Merengue Class.  Spencer will get you excited about Merengue!

This past weekend was our Favorite Local Competition, CBC DanceSport! Thanks to everyone who came out to support and watch, we appreciate you and hope you had an awesome time!  Thanks to all of our competitors, it was so fun spending the weekend with you as you showed off your skills and brought the energy!  Congrats to our Formation Team who performed well and brought the rock to Club Night!

If you missed this event and would like to have your own Competition Experience, come talk to me this week or next about ICON (October 18th) or "An Evening in Ice" Showcase (December 6th).  We will begin putting together some fun formations for the December Showcase starting in a couple of weeks, as well as casting soloists (don't worry solo, means you and a partner in ballroom!) let me know if you'd like to keep in the loop!

Do y'all have any ideas about what theme you would like?  (for formations etc) Some ideas we have are "Fantasy" "Video Games" "Around the World" "Dinosaurs"  Respond to the email with your ideas!

There are 3 Fun Ways to be involved in a Showcase

#1. Dance Heats - put on a fun outfit and dance with your instructor (or partner)  to show off the dances you have been working on and get fantastic written feedback!

#2. Join a Group Formation - These formations are a great way to get to know a few people as you take weekly dance classes together and then perform a fun routine at the end, if you have ideas for a particular dance or song, let me know!!

#3. Be the Star in your own SOLO - Solo means  you get your "Dancing with the Stars" experience.  Pick the song or the dance and let your instructor create a routine for you to show off your skills and push you to learn a few new ones!  The themes are always fun and this can be a great way to relive a great moment or cherish an important moment in your life!

We are going to start a FUN class THIS THURSDAY at 7pm.  It is called the "Triceritops Tango"  Imagine a fun dinosaur theme throughout the class as you enjoy fun exercises and steps in Tango!  Don't worry, this is still a class for adults BUT you get to let out your silly wild side and maybe learn something about dinosaurs you didn't know before! :)

This Friday is our VIP Student Appreciation Party for our regular Private Lesson Students, then don't miss our Wonderful Saturday Night Party preceded by Rumba group classes for two levels!
