Weekly Newsletter: October Calendar, WCS Events, Salsa Friday!

Hello everyone!

Thank you to all of the West Coast Swing fans who filled out my survey last week!  We have decided to offer an All-Levels West Coast Swing class each Thursday at 7:45pm starting October 8th.  If you'd like a class to refresh a step, learn some variations, and have time to practice and make friends, this is the class for you! :) $20 Drop-In or ask about our Memberships! :)

Ok, so the information is out!  On December 6th (starting at 2pm) will be our Candy Cane and Coal: Fun Match & Showcase!  Everyone is welcome!  New Dancers, Seasoned Dancers, VIP Studio Students, Social Dancers, Friends & Family!  Set up a meeting today to get involved and learn how you can enjoy the event!  Think of this as the Dave & Busters of Ballroom, prizes for every entry, fun for all, and even an opportunity to learn a Solo Dance and perform!  We (of course) have our favorite photographer Tom Wehrung coming to capture the afternoon and look forward to sharing this event with the Columbus Dance Community!  Sign up now (formations begin the week of October 5th!)

Friday October 9th at 7pm is our Cruise Interest Meeting!  We are getting the details together to take a studio trip on Cunard's Queen Mary II out of England.  There are already 10 people interested in going and we'd love to include you if you want to travel & dance next September with The Crystal Ballroom!  

This Friday (Sept 25th) is our first collaboration with Salsamante Dance Academy and VeraGrace Events.  Come to Carlos Rubio's Birthday Celebration! There will be a lesson at 8pm followed by a Latin Social and Performances!  Don't miss a great energetic evening of Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha!  Click here to get an Early Bird rate before Friday!

You may have noticed the "construction" along the Left side of our building.  We are excited to have partnered with Buckeye Bop Club to hire our very own on-staff Professional Landscaper to build a path from the sidewalk to the side parking lot. This should make it safer and easier for everyone leaving classes and parties at night to get to their car on a lit safe path.  We are looking forward to this project being completed within the next week!  Thank Fergie for his great work and attention to detail!
