Line Dance Instructor
Edie joined the Crystal Ballroom Team as the pandemic was lifting and folks were eager to get back on the dance floor. She danced on ice for many years and moved to land to try out line dancing. Her dance teaching career began in 2003 at the Worthington Community Center. She has taught a variety of line and partner dance classes there over the years. She and her husband, Allen, hosted a successful social dance at the UU church for 15 years that many of our dancers remember as the dance where they first fell in love with dancing. She also owned Stomping Grounds Dance Hall in Hilliard, which was forced to close at the start of the pandemic. Edie holds the highest credential in central Ohio from the National Teachers Association of Country Western Dance. She teaches at national dance events, including Ft. Wayne Dance for All and the International Association of Gay and Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs.
